These terms govern your use of Centerdraft at centerdraft.com, including the web app and installed (PWA) versions. By using Centerdraft you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Centerdraft is a story-structuring tool that lets you plan podcasts, videos, films, books, speeches, and other creative projects block by block. You can use the planner without an account; an account is needed for cloud sync, export, and Pro features.
When you use Centerdraft without signing in, your projects are stored only in your own browser. We have no copy of them and cannot recover them if you clear your browser data or lose your device. Signing in backs your projects up to your account.
Free: Available to all users. Includes core planning features with a project limit.
Pro: A paid subscription unlocking unlimited projects, cue-card presenting, and watermark-free export to PDF, Word and Excel. Current prices are shown at checkout and on our pricing page, and may include VAT/sales tax depending on where you live.
In our mobile apps (such as SpeechDraft on the App Store), Pro is instead a one-time in-app purchase — no subscription. The purchase is processed by Apple as merchant of record: the price is shown in the store before you buy, and payment, VAT and any refunds (including statutory withdrawal rights) are handled by Apple under Apple's own terms. You can restore a previous purchase on a new device with Restore purchases in the app. An in-app purchase unlocks Pro in that app; the web subscription is sold separately.
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or the UK, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you subscribe. By subscribing, you ask us to start the service immediately; if you withdraw within the 14 days, we refund what you paid, less a proportionate amount for the period you have already had access, as permitted by law. To withdraw, send us a clear statement that you wish to withdraw via our contact form.
Outside the EU/EEA and UK, refunds are handled case by case — if something isn't right, email us and we will sort it out. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable refund rights you have under your local law.
You own everything you create in Centerdraft. We claim no rights over your projects, scripts, notes, or any other content you produce with the tool, and we do not use your content to train AI models.
You grant us a limited licence to host, store, and process your content solely to provide the service to you (for example, syncing it between your devices and generating your exports). This licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
You are responsible for the content you create and must have the necessary rights to it.

If you believe content stored through Centerdraft infringes your copyright, contact us via our contact form and we will review and respond promptly.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, apply updates, add or change features, or temporarily suspend the service. Where a change materially reduces what you pay for, we will notify subscribers in advance and you may cancel before it takes effect. We recommend exporting important projects regularly.
You can stop using Centerdraft, or delete your account, at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially violate these terms; where reasonable, we will warn you first and give you a chance to export your data. On account deletion, your data is deleted within 30 days (see our Privacy Policy for retention required by law).
Centerdraft is a planning tool. What you plan, create, record, publish, or otherwise do based on your use of Centerdraft is entirely your own responsibility and at your own risk. In particular:
To the extent permitted by the law of your country of residence, you agree to indemnify and hold Centerdraft harmless from any third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the service in breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right. This does not apply where the claim was caused by our own breach of these terms, and it does not limit any rights you have as a consumer.
Centerdraft is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Your use of the service is at your sole risk. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your requirements.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, or opportunities, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for all claims combined is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or USD 50 if you have paid nothing.
Consumer rights: Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence — including liability that cannot lawfully be excluded (such as for intent, gross negligence, or personal injury). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
These terms are governed by the laws of Norway. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or the UK, you additionally benefit from the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country. All other disputes shall be resolved in the Norwegian courts.
If you have a complaint, please contact us first via our contact form — most issues can be resolved directly. EU/EEA consumers may also contact their national consumer protection body (in Norway, Forbrukertilsynet).
We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes we will notify account holders by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you continue to use Centerdraft after changes take effect, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, you can cancel and stop using the service before then.
